I have lived in Stranraer my entire life and care deeply about our community and its future. My working life has been spent serving the people of this area. First as a postman for many years, building strong connections with residents across Stranraer and the Rhins, and for the past decade as a window cleaner, which has helped me maintain and strengthen those relationships.
I understand the challenges our community faces. From the poor condition of our roads, to the need for better support for our schools, improvements to the town itself, and ensuring we are doing more to support the young, the elderly, and the vulnerable within our society. I am also committed to supporting our local farmers, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met so they can continue to provide for our community and protect our rural way of life.
I believe in listening to people, communicating openly, and acting on the feedback I receive. As your local Reform councillor, I will work hard to make the changes we need, ensuring your voice is heard and your concerns are addressed.
