John Crawley

Reform UK candidate for Aberdeenshire East

“East Aberdeenshire runs on fishing and farming, and we’ve got to get both working at their most efficient and productive—because that’s how we protect jobs, families, and our future.”

About John

I’ve been married for 38 years and believe strongly in hard work, loyalty, and giving something back to the community.

I began my career in the Royal Navy, serving from 1975 to 1987 as a Leading Seaman (Radar), where I developed discipline and teamwork. I then worked as a Financial Consultant with Prudential before running a financial services company from 1992 to 2007, managing a team while advising clients.

I later worked in international property and now run a power cleaning company (since 2007) and a property company (since 2013), gaining extensive experience in business, budgeting, and decision-making.

Since 2022, I have served as a councillor on Aberdeenshire Council, sitting on key committees and working groups, reviewing policy, shaping budgets, and standing up for local residents.

I am a qualified FSA Compliance Officer with financial and estate agency qualifications.

This is what I can bring to the role of being your MSP for Aberdeenshire East.
