Conrad Ritchie

Reform UK candidate for Banffshire and Buchan Coast

“The public are demanding change and change they will have.”

About Conrad

I am a political candidate from St Combs, near Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire. Born in 1972 and educated locally, I built a long career in the energy sector, spending 38 years in the Oil & Gas industry.

This has strongly influenced my political perspective, I am a strong supporter of continued North Sea exploration and an objector of Net Zero ideology. I will argue that domestic energy production is vital for jobs and energy security.

I am active in community and charitable work across the North-East and I am deeply rooted in local issues and practical solutions.

Politically, my views emphasise support for the fishing and farming industry, particularly protecting local fleets and pushing for greater control over UK waters.

On the NHS, I shall advocate for improved efficiency, frontline investment and reducing bureaucracy.

I support stricter immigration controls and shall argue for policies that prioritise skills and integration. In education, I favour a stronger focus on core subjects and vocational training.
