Dan Clarke

Reform UK candidate for Clydesdale

About Dan

Dan Clarke is a British Army veteran raised in the south of Scotland, who began his military career at just sixteen years old. He served with some of Scotland’s most distinguished regiments, including the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders – renowned as Sir Colin
Campbell’s “Thin Red Line.”

Answering the call to serve once again, Dan left behind a successful career as a Senior Operations Manager with a major cruise company in the South Pacific to return home and stand up for the country he deeply loves.

Dan entered politics driven by what he sees as the failures of successive British and Scottish governments. Drawing on his background in tourism and the Armed Forces, he brings a practical perspective alongside a strong interest in the energy sector. He is outspoken
on issues such as Net Zero policies and Scottish independence, and is a vocal advocate for better support for British military veterans.

He is a proud patriot, known for his unwavering conviction and strong sense of duty.
