Steven Grant

Reform UK candidate for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth

“Cumbernauld and Kilsyth – the beating heart of a dynamic Scotland. Perfectly placed for what comes next. Together, lets keep it that way.”

About Steven

I have lived and worked all my life in the Central Belt of Scotland. Educated at Edinburgh and Edinburgh Napier Universities, I have a BSc in Physics, as well as a Master’s degree in Business. After graduating, I enjoyed an extensive career in IT. Starting off as a Cobol Programmer in the Insurance sector, I had a number of roles, working my way up into IT Management. My final role was as a Development Manager for a public sector organisation.

Since retiring, I have used my Physics background to fully understand the ins and outs of Climate Change and Net Zero.

I joined Reform UK in July 2025, to campaign for an end to the Net Zero madness, which is the real cause of the cost-of-living crisis
