About Nigel
I am standing because I believe government in Westminster and Holyrood has lost touch with real life. Too many career politicians have never run a business or faced the impact of rising taxes and energy costs.
After 26 years of building businesses and supporting entrepreneurs, I decided I had to step forward and bring common-sense and honesty to politics.
My background is in IT and AI, with experience in environmental and energy projects. I have worked in agriculture and still live on a smallholding, so I empathise with the pressures and crazy bureaucracy and carbon audits our farmers face.
My priorities are to cut taxes, scrap net-zero policies that harm our economy, and make devolution work for Scotland.
My aim is simple. Put local people first and make Scotland the most prosperous place in the UK to live and work.
