About Charles
My parents migrated to the UK from the West Indies in the 1960’s as part of the Windrush Generation.
Having been brought up in social housing and watching my parents struggle to pay bills and buy food throughout my childhood, I was determined to not be in the same situation.
I completed an apprenticeship in Lift Engineering in the 90’s and worked my way up through the grades to become a service manager. Thereafter, I became a lift consultant for an international real estate solution company and went on to start up my own lift consultancy company which is now in its third year of trading.
