“No one should ever be penalised or worse off for trying to do the right thing. Working poverty must end!”

About Audrey

I am a proud working-class woman from Glasgow’s East End, recognised as a community leader and frontline campaigner. My career has focused on supporting society’s most vulnerable, including work in addiction support, child protection, and mental health. For the past nine years, I have founded and led a grassroots charity that has helped over 60,000 people in Glasgow, delivering essential aid and life-changing support.

My dedication to public service has been honoured with the Points of Light Award from Downing Street and a British Empire Medal (BEM) from the King. As a councillor, I am known for being accessible, responsive, and willing to challenge decisions that affect my community. I am a passionate advocate for women and girls’ safety, a defender of the NHS, and an active campaigner on the housing crisis, with experience on the IJB committee.

Above all, my proudest achievement is my two beautiful daughters. I believe in family first, and they make me proud every day.

I believe politics should be rooted in real-life experience, honesty, and accountability. My aim is to represent a compassionate, community-driven approach that delivers real results, not as a career politician, but as someone who has lived and fought through the struggles I now work to address.
