“Our Islands need a modern, reliable transport system to promote the economy and help combat depopulation, which in turn will allow us to better meet the needs of our community.”
Born the eldest of eleven siblings, Malcolm and his wife of 37 years, have three children and five grand children.
Brought up predominantly on a small holding near Aberfeldy, in 1994 they moved to Lewis, where both sets of parents still reside. Malcolm studied and worked in the horticultural industry before the couple took on the care of his sister with additional needs, subsequently becoming foster carers for the local authority.

If elected he would prioritise ‘Family, Community and Country’ backed by the old Stornoway Town Council motto ‘Gods Providence is our Inheritance’.
