“I will work to revitalise our market towns and villages, championing neglected rural Scotland.”
I grew up in the far north of Scotland and have lived and worked across rural communities. My family settled in Perthshire 23 years ago. After graduating from Edinburgh University, I worked as a veterinary surgeon.
Following the birth of my children, I campaigned at the Scottish Parliament for better treatment and support for people with ME. I later worked in environmental organisations, leading a campaign to protect Scotland’s peatlands, helping secure recognition of Wild Land Areas as a national asset.
This experience led me to question the Scottish Government’s approach to health, energy and the environment. I believe these policies are failing Scotland.
Current energy policies are damaging key industries and driving up costs, hitting the poorest hardest. Measures like Low Emission Zones risk penalising working families.
Across public services, too many people are being let down, and the main parties offer little real change.
Please vote for Reform on both ballot papers. I will work hard to improve the lives of people in Perthshire South and Kinross-shire.
